The Litecoin Register is a specialized analytics tool that tracks Litecoin (LTC) held on the balance sheets of public companies, public funds, exchange reserves, and ecosystem foundations. It is for informational and entertainment purposes only. The data is aggregated from verified public financial filings, on-chain proof-of-reserves, and API providers.

2. Data Integrity

• Update Frequency: Data is updated sporadically based on the availability of public reports.
• Verification: Entities are only listed if their holdings can be tied to a verified source (SEC filing, audited financial report, or signed wallet message).
• Forward-Fill: When data is missing between days on charts, the previous day’s value is carried forward.
• Double Counting: Litecoin could be double counted across multiple entities. For example, a company’s treasury could be deployed to a DeFi protocol.

For Developers (Debug Mode)

• API Endpoints: The app consumes /api.json for entity data and /priceHistory.json for historical NAV charting.
• Fallback: If live market data fails, the system defaults to cached values to ensure the UI remains functional.

3. Navigation & Filters

• Sector Tabs: Click a tab (e.g., INVESTMENT) to filter the list.
  • Tip: On mobile devices, you can drag/swipe the tab bar left and right to see more options.
• Region Filter: Use the dropdown to isolate data by jurisdiction (e.g., North America vs. Europe).
• Sorting: The main table is automatically sorted by Total Holdings (highest to lowest).

⚡ Advanced: Custom Filters & Multi-Select

Pro Tip: You are not limited to the single clicks allowed by the UI tabs. You can view multiple sectors or regions simultaneously by modifying the URL parameters directly.

How to Select Multiple Items

The dashboard supports comma-separated values in the URL bar.

1. Sectors: Add multiple categories to ?sector= separated by a comma.
   • Example: View Public Treasuries and ETFs together: https://litecoinregister.com/?sector=treasuries,investment
2. Regions: Add multiple regions to ?region= separated by a comma.
   • Example: View US and European entities together: https://litecoinregister.com/?region=united-states,eurozone
3. Combine Them: You can mix both filters.
   • Example: View all Government AND treasuries in Canada: https://litecoinregister.com/?sector=government,treasuries&region=canada

4. Dashboard Metrics

The top statistics bar provides a snapshot of the current view. Here is how each metric is calculated:

• Total Holdings: The sum of all Litecoin held by the entities currently visible in your selected filter.
• LTC/USD: Real-time price data fetched via the CoinGecko API.
• Supply Tracked: The percentage of the total circulating Litecoin supply that is currently locked in the corporate/institutional treasuries listed here.

5. Sectors & Taxonomy

We categorize entities into five distinct sectors based on their operational nature.

TREASURIES	Operating companies that hold LTC as a reserve asset. Includes Public Companies (e.g., MicroStrategy style holdings) and Mining firms.
ECOSYSTEM	Non-profit or development organizations. Includes DeFi protocols, Sidechains, and Collectibles.
EXCHANGE	Verified exchange cold storage and Proof-of-Reserves.
GOVERNMENT	Assets seized by law enforcement agencies (e.g., Seizures).
